After a long struggle with Drupal, I’m back to WordPress. If you’re looking for a certain link on the old Drupal site, just add /drupal/ into the URL. For example, if you were looking for https://www.likoma.com/wp201, it’s now at https://www.likoma.com/drupal/wp201. I’m trying to bring everything over to this new site on WordPress.
From Front Page to Dreamweaver to MovableType to WordPress to Drupal and now back to WordPress, it’s been an adventure. Seeing that I now build new sites exclusively in WordPress, I figured I should walk the talk. Also, Drupal was just killing me and WordPress is a dream.
This new site is still a bit under construction, but check out some of the new features:
- Search :: Try out the tag-based Search page where you can narrow down the tags (keywords) by using an “and” search function. Or click on one of the tags in the Tag Cloud in the upper right.
- FAQ :: The most frequently answered questions are gathering in the FAQ section.
- Subscribe :: I’m working on getting subscriptions working so you can subscribe to the latest news, updates, and help from this site.

Thanks for the info. I have really been considering switching, but I have really enjoyed all the features of Word Press. I was a little concerned with trying something new. I will stick to what I know.

I just want to share with you – after you said in the summer that the difference between WordPress and Drupal was similar to Mac and Windows – that I have started using WordPress for a project of my own and I feel a bit ashamed that I have given Drupal to some customers where the complexity really did not need it and WordPress would have taken care of there content and how to use it on Internet.
A main strength of WordPress so far: It is focused on your content and getting it online in a nice presentation, without taking thousands of decisions on how to do it, and WordPress leaves the end user with an easy to use product.
