Likoma Finally Switches (back!) to WordPress

email

After a long struggle with Drupal, I’m back to WordPress. If you’re looking for a certain link on the old Drupal site, just add /drupal/ into the URL. For example, if you were looking for http://www.likoma.com/wp201, it’s now at http://www.likoma.com/drupal/wp201. I’m trying to bring everything over to this new site on WordPress.

From Front Page to Dreamweaver to MovableType to WordPress to Drupal and now back to WordPress, it’s been an adventure. Seeing that I now build new sites exclusively in WordPress, I figured I should walk the talk. Also, Drupal was just killing me and WordPress is a dream.

This new site is still a bit under construction, but check out some of the new features:

  • Search :: Try out the tag-based Search page where you can narrow down the tags (keywords) by using an “and” search function. Or click on one of the tags in the Tag Cloud in the upper right.
  • FAQ :: The most frequently answered questions are gathering in the FAQ section.
  • Subscribe :: I’m working on getting subscriptions working so you can subscribe to the latest news, updates, and help from this site.

Thanks for your patience and drop me a line if you have any comments or suggestions.

Thanks!

Thanks for the info. I have really been considering switching, but I have really enjoyed all the features of Word Press. I was a little concerned with trying something new. I will stick to what I know.
