Lone Mørch has launched a site for her new venture: Divinely Furious. She needed a site that could grow with her, grow beyond her (partners), grow farther than her writing (guest authors), provide workshops, video, audio, the works. We got some help from her design guru Jay Kamins and then put a powerful theme under the hood. She’s live, ready, and you should check her out. Well, with titles such as “Don’t Talk To Me About Unsexy Facts About Sex,” and “The Fuel of Fury” let’s just say you won’t be bored.

From the technical side of things, I was thrilled that we could use a StudioPress Genesis Theme so that Lone would have more power under the hood. With the Prose child theme we have loads of formatting, color, background and tweaking options all within the WordPress admin. Even deeper on the techno front, I’m using Genesis Simple Edits to save me a few trips to the code if I want to change some simple code in post meta or post footer areas. I’m also using Genesis Simple Hooks to let me get code or styling where I want it–all without having to get into any PHP files, open Dreamweaver or any other code wrangling program. It sure makes for more efficient work on the backend.

If Lone’s name rings a bell, she’s been here before. Check out Lolo’s Boudoir and some of the fabulous photos she let me use for a post on website traffic versus conversion.
