Drupal :: Add an Event

Here’s a video to add an event to the event calendar in Drupal.

Basic steps:

  • Log in.
  • Click Create Content,
  • Click Event,
  • Type a title, choose a category (Fundraiser, Party, Speakers, etc.),
  • Type the body of the event (the information),
  • (Scroll down a bit) Choose the Start and End of the Event. You have to fill it all in, down to the minute.
  • (Optional) You can choose “to Email out a copy of this post” to a specific group (e.g. BNI Members),
  • Click the submit button at the bottom and it will be posted on the site (and, if you chose to send it to the group, sent to the group as an email).
