Can’t get FTP access? Port 80 (or domain.com:2082) blocked? Here’s a cloud-based solution.

I’m at a hotel and apparently they don’t want me moving files back and forth using FTP (or anything remotely file-moving related). I can’t seem to do anything to edit a simple file on a server. I tried FTP add-ons in browsers, but they didn’t work either. Granted, even email doesn’t work at this hotel … but a web browser does.

After a few more tries, I found net2ftp. No account necessary, just enter your url, login name and password and you have a cPanel-like interface at your fingertips. Filed edited, one uploaded, one downloaded, done. Perfect.

Great website that lets you log into your FTP server (or file system) with just your user name and password.
