It was a Genesis site (that we built), but still, just a few changes and it was going to be easier to switch it to Canvas.

It wasn’t a huge redesign, just a bunch of fixes and a clean-up of the header and some small design changes. But without using anything but clicking and configuring, we got the new site into Canvas and we’re done.

We now have two easy-to-use navigation bars, resizeable page layouts (literally dragging or typing in a number), font selections galore, and we can take advantage of the slider or the magazine slider or grid to show latest posts.

Now that was easy.

It was easier to make some basic design changes in Canvas than it was going to be in Genesis.

it wasn't a bad site (hey, we built it), but it just needed some freshening up.
