If you had 30 seconds to not only tell but show what would you do?

Hey Likoma fans, this is a guest post written by Jason Steinberg of Bumpercrop Productions. He has a special going on  for a limited time to produce a 30-second video of you (and/or your business) for $500. He’s only accepting 10 people for this project, so if you’d like to have your 30 seconds of fame, get in touch with Jason.

Why should you bother creating a video?

Answer: because you can and people love VIDEO.

First, the power of video publishing: Seeing and HEARING is believing. According to research discovered by Pam Card || Surefire Online Marketing, “The number one strategy for Facebook marketing is video!”

Let’s clarify that: uploading your own video to Facebook is important. They’ve got  something unique about autoplay, its basic psychology. If something is moving, it will attract your attention, but better yet, your client’s attention. A person will click and learn about you or your business.

Video improves understanding.

Videos help build trust: Telling your story in a  message that will be told and retold with absolutely no errors in the retelling.

Not only is your video a unique story but think of it as your online SIGN. Open for business kind of thing. Granted I don’t make traditional signage, I leave that for my business colleague Martin Wall of Martin Sign Company, but videos created by Bumpercrop Productions are virtual signs.

Videos expand your outreach. Do you enjoy taking calls in the middle of the night? Or worrying about connecting with others in different time zones around the world.

Speaking of the wide world of the web, how many websites have you viewed on your phone? Did you pull out your glasses, like me, to read the tiny print? Or did you two-finger finger split/swipe it to increase the font size?

Videos are mobile friendly. Think about it, how much fun is it to read on your phone?

Now, what kind of fun can we accomplish in 30 or 90 seconds? Not just an elevator pitch, cause let’s be honest … smart phones don’t work too smartly, no how, in all elevators. Give a feeling of what you do. Scott R. Kline of SRK Headshot Day spins his story below.

Lastly, why is video always the last thing to be added to a website? Web crawlers love to rank websites with video ahead of those without.

Video doesn’t have to be expensive. That’s why I am offering 30-second-video-profile for $500. We spend 30-60 minutes recording your voice during an onsite interview and I’ll spend a couple hours collecting B-roll footage to coincide, in less than a week you will have your new video.

Still stuck on the idea of what to do?

Do you already have a content marketing plan? Let’s repurpose your existing blog materials and turn it into a video. We can use existing imagery and just add your voice. Easy peezy!

Welcome to story telling in the 21st century … it’s an inexpensive tool for an online marketing boost and profile ranking.
