Set up Google Apps for Email on your Apple Mail using IMAP

You’ve made the switch to Google Apps for Email and you’d like to set it up on your Mac. There are more steps about the basic process to setting up Google Apps for email, but here’s the step-by-step screencast to do it on my Mac for Apple Mail. This version walks you through setting it up using IMAP–which is recommended if you are using two or more devices (computer, phone, webmail, laptop, etc.).

    Thank you so much for posting this information. I have gone round and round trying to get my google apps e-mail to show up on my Mac (even the Apple Genius couldn’t figure it out) and within 3 minutes of reading this post I had my e-mail loaded onto my computer. Many, many thanks.
