Dagon Design’s Secure Form Mailer Plugin For WordPress allows for some fancy form fabrication without getting knee-deep into code–not even ankle deep! Note to self: remember to put the CSS file into the theme directory.

Event Calendar
Alex over at Firetree has a great plugin called Event Calendar. All was just dandy until it stopped showing the (single post) for an event. Yes, it’s in the future and it turns out it wouldn’t show up if the visitor wasn’t logged into the site. Thanks to Norman for the hack.

The Excerpt Reloaded
Kaf has a fantastic plugin called The Excerpt Reloaded. I was having real trouble getting the ‘allowtags’ to work until I finally replaced: “the_excerpt_reloaded” with “wp_the_excerpt_reloaded” then it all worked like a charm.
Headline Images

I’ve been happily integrating Gallery2 into WordPress lately and it’s working well. However, it’s overkill for someone who just wants to put up a few photos in a few albums (and doesn’t need fancy-pants watermarks, integration with shopping carts, etc.).
