WP :: Photos

email

I’ve been happily integrating Gallery2 into WordPress lately and it’s working well. However, it’s overkill for someone who just wants to put up a few photos in a few albums (and doesn’t need fancy-pants watermarks, integration with shopping carts, etc.). Just found a few that look promising:

At first glance, it looks like Plogger is more of a multi-album gallery and SimpleViewer is a single album (and you can make more albums).

    Funny, I’m on the very same quest right now. I have a G2 gallery integrated with WPG2, but am becoming disillusioned with its complexity. Way too much power for what I really use it for (which seems to be typically inserting a handful of photos into a blog post and writing about them).

    I caught your comment over at fGallery+ and was curious if you have a test page displaying your fGallery+ install. I’m very interested!

    Have you heard of

    Rob: So far, fGallery+ is working well. Here’s an example in progress. The trick is to get your template working right for the album pages. You need to edit the fim_photos.php file just right so it keeps the functions, but uses your template CSS and PHP. More later, working on another fG+ install today.
