There are several ways to show an archive of posts on your home page. Here are a few.

You can go to Settings –> Reading and change what shows on your front page to Your Latest Posts and call it a day. If you’re using WOO Themes Canvas, then you have some more options to gussy up those posts with thumbnail resizing and whatnot. You can also do recent posts and then choose to do more with a widgetized page (e.g. Magazine layout or widgetized page layout, etc.).
