How to Publish Your Book in the iBookstore

Lots of my website clients are writers. Lots of those writers, OK, all of those writers are looking for new and improved ways to sell their books. Here’s an article from copyblogger that will help you get your book into into iBooks.

A few years ago I was certainly in the crowd that pooh-poohed digital books. Then I got an iPhone. Then Apple came out with iBooks. Still, I’m not going to read a book on that little screen. Am I? Then I opened it and found a new book by Michael Lewis (The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine). Ooh, they have this sample option where I can read a bit of the book. 81 pages! Well, I’ll just have a look. I read 81 pages. Hmm, maybe there is something to this.

A recent report out a few weeks ago that electronic books are outselling paperback books, and Apple expects to sell more than 28 million iPads by the end of 2011. So it’s no surprise that a lot of writers want to know how they can get a new-fangled electronic book into the iBookstore.
