So this was interesting. With my new-found love for WOO, I made a last-minute decision to just re-create what we had just done in another theme in WOO Canvas. Why? Because there were a few little last-minute changes that were going to be difficult (or at least more difficult) to create. We were using a really cool theme, but it was, in the end, limited. That’s the beauty of Canvas: it’s something of a blank slate that can easily be molded to what you need it to be.

Alex wanted just a “biography” site to list his writing work. We had that cool–but simple–theme with the beautiful background and a thin content area. With a little tweaking to Canvas, we had that same look–with some improvements. Now Alex will have more control over (global) font selection, layout choices, shortcodes, and the other powerful features that come with WOO Themes. Check out the WOO Wonder over at alexkugushev.com.
